 Ramagundam
Pump House is near to the village Ramagundam. This place is
a hilly area with water springs (Gundalu) on the
hills.People belive that Lord Sri Rama travelled through
these hills during his 12 years of vanavasam. The town name
Ramagundam gets its name from the two words Rama + Gundams
based on this place. |

This place is located at a distance of 3 KM's
from Ramagundam Railway station and 7 KM's
from Godavarikhani bus station. |
| Priests who regularly visit this place say that
there were around 107 water springs on these hills, but most
of them are gone with the time due to no proper security
for this place. People can observe few of these water springs
near to the temple on the hills |
